Head of Finance Operations & Transformation (Fintech/Payments)

We're seeking an accomplished Head of Finance Operations & Transformation to lead process excellence, automation, and strategic finance operations within a dynamic, fast-scaling environment.

About the Role:

You'll lead and evolve the finance operations function, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and compliance in a fast-paced fintech ecosystem. Working closely with business, technology, and compliance teams, you'll drive continuous improvement and build the financial backbone that enables regional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations: payables, receivables, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end close.
• Lead transformation initiatives focused on automation, system integration, and process efficiency.
• Partner cross-functionally to align finance processes with payment flows and business growth.
• Build and mentor a high-performing operations team with a focus on scalability and control.
• Ensure compliance with local and regional financial, tax, and audit requirements.
• Provide financial insights and governance to support key business decisions.

About You:

• 10+ years of experience in operational finance or accounting, with at least 4 years in leadership.
• Proven background in fintech, payments, or digital financial services is essential.
• Strong understanding of financial operations in high-volume transaction environments.
• Experienced in ERP systems, automation tools, and process optimisation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
