A prestigious international school in Singapore is seeking an experienced and forwardthinking Head of Facility Management & Ops to oversee campus operations, facilities management, health & safety, and long-term campus development.

This is a senior leadership role within the Business Administration team, where you will ensure the campus remains safe, efficient, sustainable, and fully aligned with the school's mission to deliver an outstanding learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Facilities Management

  • Lead and manage all third-party service providers, including maintenance, security, cleaning, landscaping, catering, transport, and nursing services.

  • Ensure campus facilities, systems, and equipment comply with international standards and local regulations.

  • Manage relocations, logistics, and transportation services across the campus.

  • Deliver small to large-scale premises improvement projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee maintenance schedules, engineering systems, energy efficiency initiatives, and sustainability programs.

Capital Projects & Master Planning

  • Lead a 10-year campus masterplan, coordinating with architects and designers to realise long-term academic and infrastructure objectives.

  • Prepare CAPEX submissions, budgets, vendor proposals, and project documentation.

Health, Safety & Risk Management

  • Serve as the school's Health & Safety Coordinator, supporting ISO45001 and ISO9001 standards.

  • Oversee fire safety procedures, drills, risk assessments, sanitation compliance, and accident reporting.

  • Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for premises-related safeguarding matters.

Leadership & Financial Oversight

  • Lead and develop operations and facilities teams, setting performance targets and supporting professional growth.

  • Manage annual and monthly budgets for operations and facilities, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Degree or professional qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in facilities or property management, preferably within education, healthcare, or large community settings.

  • Proven experience managing large third-party service contracts and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of local regulatory requirements and best practices in H&S, facilities operations, and sustainability.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
