Head of Downstream Energy, Singapore

Responsibilities include:

. Evaluate and underwrite a profitable portfolio of downstream & power business, reviewing submissions & risk analysis.

. Tailor insurance policies to meet internal appetite and work with our brokers and clients to offer specific solutions to meet client needs.

. Stay current with industry trends, market conditions and emerging risks within the energy sector to make informed underwriting decisions.

. Manage and optimize the performance of the downstream and power energy portfolio by optimizing risk selection, pricing and exposure management.

. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers and other industry stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service and guidance throughout the process

. Collaborate with Claims and other key internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless claims process and assist in resolution of complex claims where required

. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal underwriting guidelines and contribute to the overall risk management strategy of the organization.
