About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Head of Department Manager for Diffusion (Furnace, Implant) in semiconductor manufacturing, responsible for driving departmental performance by aligning resources, communicating effectively, managing costs, delegating strategically, and developing a high-performing team
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Diffusion (Furnace, Implant) Department with clear strategic direction to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop roadmaps for productivity, cost optimization, and technology advancement.
- Ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration with Process, Equipment, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.
- Oversee daily diffusion operations, delegate responsibilities to team members, organize projects, and monitor progress.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively, including manpower, tools, parts, and budgets.
- Safeguard Management of change Participate as key member in FCCB (Fab Change Control Board), PCCB (Process Change Control Board) to review and recommend PRS (Process Release Spec) acceptance.
- Oversea Tool move-in, installation and process qualification to support technology qualification roadmap.
- Participate in equipment purchase specification and technical discussion.
- Oversea Diffusion Technology from parent fab and ensure process and equipment matching to subsidiary fab.
Qualifications & Core Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to clearly present complex issues and apply persuasive interpersonal techniques
- Innovative, adaptable, and open to new approaches
- Demonstrates strong performance and composure under pressure
- Experience in managing furnace, implant and metrology process and equipment in 300mm wafer fab
