About the Role
The Head of Data will define, lead, and oversee MoneyHero's enterprise-wide data strategy and infrastructure. This role is responsible for managing the collection, storage, quality, and governance of data while enabling insights that drive business growth. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise in data management and analytics with leadership experience in guiding teams and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Enterprise Data Architecture & Reference Data Management: Establish and maintain an Enterprise Data Model and business data dictionary to organize and structure data across the organization. Develop reference data management processes to ensure consistency, integrity, and compliance across systems.
- Data Platform Strategy & Vendor Management: Lead the design, maintenance, and evolution of the data platform to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. Define requirements, evaluate prospective partners, and oversee implementation of data platform and visualization solutions.
- Data Quality & Governance: Implement robust data quality frameworks, IT controls, and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Establish patterns for PII management, entitlements, and data classification in collaboration with ISO and other stakeholders.
- Analytics, Reporting & Insights: Enable both self-service and customized reporting capabilities. Develop real-time dashboards, predictive models, and automated KPI reports to accelerate time-to-insights and support business decision-making.
- Advanced Technology Integration: Integrate conversational AI, NLP, and generative AI technologies into the data landscape to enhance insights, predictive analytics, and user experiences.
- Lifecycle Marketing & Segmentation: Design and implement lifecycle marketing practices, including self-service and exploratory/experimental segmentation, to support data-driven marketing strategies.
- Data Advisory & Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the subject matter expert on all data-related matters. Advise business units on opportunities to leverage data, provide actionable insights, and recommend strategies for maximizing impact.
- Team Leadership & Offshore Collaboration: Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, providing guidance on best practices for data preparation, reporting, and operational excellence. Support offshore teams in building efficient and accurate workflows.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices. Establish and enforce frameworks to safeguard sensitive data across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Extensive experience in data management, enterprise data architecture, and platform strategy
- Proven track record in implementing data quality, governance frameworks, and analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience with conversational AI, NLP, and generative AI technologies is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience leading, mentoring, and scaling data teams while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
