Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a technical cybersecurity role with 7 years of experience with cloud security architecture or implementation.
- 5 years of experience as a pre-sales manager or technical customer-facing people manager within a cloud engineering or sales engineering team.
- Experience with delivering technical conversations, demos, prototyping, or workshops to C-suite executives.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing a team through pre-sales processes and career development (e.g., account mapping, quota setting, performance management, managing sensitive information).
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders/executive leaders (e.g., delivering engaging messages by audience, asking strategic questions, leading conversations that drive accelerated value realization and business opportunity).
- Experience in cybersecurity matters (e.g., threat detection, malware intelligence, cloud security posture management, Identity and Access Management systems).
- Experience driving delivery and consumption plans for cross-pillar cloud solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

As a Head of Customer Engineering (CE), you lead Security CE managers and teams and deploy a team of subject matter experts responsible for working alongside our customers to provide trusted technical and solution advice to accelerate workload migration and remove technical blockers. You will foster a culture of technical ownership and understand the mechanics of architecture, delivery, and consumption across the Google Cloud portfolio.

Responsibilities
- Lead and empower an organization of GCS CE Managers and specialized CEs, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on continuous skill development and strategic pre-sales execution. Under your leadership, this team will help enterprise customers modernize their security programs and achieve transformational business outcomes.
- Partner closely with APAC business leadership, you will architect technical go-to-market strategies, lead complex opportunity reviews for multi-million dollar engagements, and drive cross-functional alignment to eliminate technical barriers.
- Act as a premier technical executive in the region. By engaging directly with enterprise CISOs and CIOs, you will advocate for the differentiated value of the GCS portfolio and accelerate customer time-to-value.
