Head of Cross-Border Payment Partnerships
The Role
This is a top leadership mandate covering full P&L ownership, strategic partnerships, and digital transformation for a fast-scaling cross-border payments business.
- Own overall business performance, P&L, and operations; drive growth strategy and oversee all business/functional units for execution excellence
- Personally lead strategic partnerships with major banks, financial institutions, payment networks, and key commercial partners across Singapore and ASEAN; identify new markets, alliances, and M&A opportunities
- Oversee financial performance, capital allocation, budgeting, and long-term financial health
- Champion innovation and digital transformation; oversee technology and product roadmaps for competitive advantage
Requirements
Essential
- 6+ years leadership in financial services, incl. 3+ years senior management in payments, fintech, or digital banking
- Proven track record managing a regulated financial institution in Singapore, ideally under MAS oversight
- Strong grasp of the Payment Services Act, MPI licensing, and MAS director/CEO expectations
- Solid risk management, compliance, and governance background
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and strategic decision-making skills
Preferred
- Prior approved Director/CEO for an MAS-regulated entity
- Experience scaling payment businesses or cross-border payment solutions
- Established network within Singapore's financial/regulatory ecosystem
