Head of Compliance SEA, Global Asset Management

We are partnering with a leading global asset management firm to appoint a Chief Compliance Officer, Head of Compliance – Southeast Asia, based in Singapore.

Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the compliance framework across Southeast Asia, acting as a strategic advisor to the business. The role will focus on delivering commercially pragmatic regulatory guidance, enabling business expansion while maintaining robust governance standards. You will partner closely with investment, distribution, and operations teams, as well as engage regularly with regulators and senior stakeholders across the region and globally.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing the regional compliance strategy, enhancing risk and monitoring frameworks, driving regulatory change initiatives, and leading transformation through technology and innovation. You will also play a critical role in fostering a strong risk culture and leading a high-performing team.

The ideal candidate will have 12–15+ years of compliance or legal experience within asset management or financial services, with deep knowledge of Southeast Asia regulatory environments and a proven ability to partner with business leaders.
