Cana Consulting is partnering with a prominent financial leader, in search of a Head of Compliance. The Head of Compliance will be responsible for setting the compliance strategy and ensuring its effective execution across the organisation's core business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Framework Leadership
- Lead the development and execution of compliance strategies globally for the company.
- Design and maintain compliance frameworks governing external contractors, suppliers, and outsourced activities.
- Manage processes for securing and maintaining necessary operating licenses, overseeing all related applications, official renewals, and regulatory audits.
Operations and Execution
- Oversee the entire process for onboarding new suppliers and partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for large, business clients regarding compliance assurance, coordinating and supporting client audits and due-diligence reviews.
- Drive key compliance projects, including work related to data reporting activities, strategic partnerships, and necessary data acquisition requirements.
- Actively identify, evaluate, and reduce compliance risks across the business, proposing practical, action-oriented solutions that support business goals.
- Directly participate in compliance processes, internal audits, investigations, and complex issue resolution as required.
Team and Regional Management
- Provide functional leadership and guidance to the dedicated Compliance Officers.
- Manage and mentor local compliance professionals.
