Head of Cloud Platform - Singapore Public Sector

A Singapore government organisation running some of most complex, mission-critical technology environments is hiring a Head of Cloud Platform to lead its cloud architecture function. You'll head a team of cloud specialists, set technical direction across multi-cloud and hybrid environments, and work directly with internal stakeholders and vendor partners to integrate new cloud capability into large, interconnected systems.

This isn't a purely strategic seat — you'll need to stay close to the architecture and the platform itself, not just direct from a distance, while owning security/compliance posture, cost and performance optimisation, and continuous improvement of existing platforms. You'll also be accountable for the DevSecOps pipelines that govern how software moves from development to production, and for guiding teams across platform engineering, cloud security and data platforms to operate as one function rather than in silos.

We're looking for someone with 15+ years in cloud infrastructure and platform roles, including a genuine track record of building or running a cloud platform function at scale, real depth across more than one hyperscaler (this isn't a single-cloud shop), and ideally some exposure to regulated or public-sector environments where governance and security carry real weight.

You'll need to be equally comfortable setting direction and getting hands-on, and confident enough to present technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders who sign off on them.

Given security requirements, only Singaporean citizens can be considered.
