What You Will Be Working On
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Business Operations to take ownership of the company's operations including financial control, operational efficiency, and internal governance. This role acts as the company's internal control tower, working directly with the Founders to ensure financial clarity, operational discipline, and scalability as we grow. You will not just manage processes—you will own outcomes, coordinate external partners, and provide insights that drive business decisions.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Track and drive key business metrics across sales, marketing, and customer success (e.g. conversion, CAC, revenue, collections)
- Improve internal processes and operational efficiency with the use of AI across the company
- Build and maintain a CEO dashboard with key financial and business metrics and drive key business metrics across sales, marketing, and customer success (e.g. conversion, CAC, revenue, collections)
- Provide clear visibility on cashflow, burn, and runway to support business decisions
- Own monthly financial reporting (P&L, cashflow, variance) with accurate and timely insights
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Support fundraising, financial modelling, and investor reporting
- Oversee and coordinate external vendors (accounting, payroll, corporate secretary)
- Ensure smooth finance operations (invoicing, collections, monthly closing)
- Maintain compliance with ACRA, IRAS, GST, and manage audit processes
- Oversee HR and administrative operations (via vendors), including payroll and contracts
- Coordinate with sales and delivery teams to ensure project closure, billing readiness, and revenue recognition
What We Are Looking For
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounts, Technology or related field
- 5–10 years experience in business operations roles
- Proven experience managing full set of accounts, financial reporting, and audit coordination
- Strong understanding of Singapore compliance (ACRA, IRAS, GST, statutory filings)
- Experience working in a startup, SME, or high-growth environment
- Ability to manage and coordinate external vendors (accounting, payroll, corporate secretary)
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
- Exposure to commercial operations (e.g. invoicing, collections, revenue tracking)
- Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and delivery teams
- Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes and systems, not just maintain them
- High ownership mindset with ability to operate independently and drive outcomes
