Responsibilities
- Planning, promotion, and progress management of overall sales activities in Singapore
- Relationship building and negotiation with key customers and business partners
- Project management and information sharing in collaboration with the Head Office sales department
- Identification of issues related to sales activities and consideration/proposal of improvement measures
- Planning and implementation of sales promotion activities (including sales promotion at various academic conferences, exhibitions, etc.)
- Information gathering and analysis regarding sales, manufacturing, and market trends
- Information gathering and market development for new fields
- Provision of technical services to customers (including in-line support and data acquisition)
- Collection of technical information and information necessary for the execution of new development themes
- Liaising with external parties (accountants, consultants, etc.) regarding sales and business operation matters
- Reporting and information sharing to the Head Office regarding the operational status of the base
- Staff recruitment duties and performance evaluations
- General management duties as the head of the base (including finance, accounting, human resources, general affairs, labor, IT, and office management)
Requirements
- More than 20 years of comprehensive experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong blend of technical expertise and sales/business development exposure.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency, enabling effective communication and relationship management with Japanese-speaking clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Engineering, Science, or Business).
