Airbus Avionics is an Original Equipment Manufacturer within Airbus, responsible for avionics and radomes products for aircraft.
Airbus Avionics facilities in Singapore offering regional Customer Support and Services (spares, repairs services and associated services), for Asia-Pacific (APAC) and China customers (100+ customers including Airlines, MRO, ATR, Airbus Entities).
The Jobholder will be in charge of supporting 150+ Customers (Airlines, MRO, ATR, Airbus Entities...) in Asia Pacific & China, for aftermarket matters related to Avionics and Radome commodity, such as sales of spares, repair services, retrofit & associated services, with associated business development opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
The Jobholder is in charge of all business and customer support activities related to Airbus Avionics Services and Operations activities in the following main areas :
- The Jobholder shall ensure customer satisfaction on all area of aftermarket support (Communication, supply chain performance, commercial, engineering support and product support), keeping Airbus Avionics ranked as the best OEM supplier by Airbus operators, via regular customer visits (90 visits per year)
- The Jobholder shall secure financial revenues (20M in 2026) and profits ( 30% Gross Margin) via the definition & deployment of the Commercial policy in APAC & China
- The Jobholder shall define and deploy the industrial strategy with local suppliers, in cooperation with Procurement, to support operations and cost competitiveness initiatives.
- The Jobholder shall manage a team of 8 persons with heterogenous profiles, in charge of Customer Support Operations (5 persons), Sales (1 VIE), Engineering Support (1person) and Contract Management (1person)
Secondary Responsibilities:
- The Jobholder contributes to define Commercial strategy in Airbus Avionics, and ensures deployment in APAC & China regions by all stakeholder, such as Partner companies, or its local customer support organisation.
- The Jobholder shall coordinate Customer Support & Marketing representatives (CSD, GAM, Business development) in APAC to support any Airbus Avionics initiative to Customers.
- The Jobholder ensures his/her team manages customer support operations in APAC and China (Ordering & supply chain), in close coordination with the Customer support operations team based in Toulouse.
- The Jobholder shall ensure his/her team contributes to any transformation & continuous improvement initiatives
- The jobholder's team shall monitor and manage several partners repair station in order to guarantee best repair processing time, ensures profit objectives are obtained, assures timely delivery of material, ensures inventory goals by analyzing, summarizing information and trends, recommends disposition of stock at high stocking levels, controls daily operations order invoicing and finally ensure smooth financial flow with Airbus Avionics Headquarters.
- The jobholder shall ensure his/her team is negotiating a contract with Customers & Partners, in accordance with headquarter guidelines (Thales, Collins, Safran,...), Repair Stations, Sub-Contractors...) in close collaboration with Procurement and Supply Chain Quality Managers.
Job Requirements
