Job Description
What you will own:
- Establish and scale a world-class AI engineering function, built from inception
- Design and deliver production-grade AI systems operating in complex, real-time environments
- Own the end-to-end AI lifecycle, including model build, deployment, monitoring, and optimisation
- Develop and scale autonomous workflows and intelligent automation, reducing manual intervention across operations
- Build a platform-led approach to AI, enabling reusable, production-ready capabilities
- Drive the evolution toward self-learning, self-healing systems powered by AI
- Partner closely with stakeholders to translate strategy into executed, measurable AI outcomes
- Ensure strong foundations in governance, reliability, and responsible AI deployment

- Proven experience leading AI, engineering, or platform organisations at scale
- Strong foundation in systems engineering, platform architecture, or distributed systems
- Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML systems into production environments
- Track record of building and scaling teams and capabilities from the ground up
- Experience operating in high-complexity, high-reliability environments
- Ability to operate at both at deep technical and architectural levels as well as at executive and strategic levels
