The AI Practice Leader will spearhead the development, implementation, and management of the organisation's Artificial Intelligence (AI) practice. This executive role is responsible for defining practice strategy, driving innovation, leading a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI solutions aligned to business objectives. The AI Practice Leader will serve as the thought leader and primary spokesperson for AI initiatives, fostering collaboration both internally and externally.
. Strategy & Leadership:
. Develop and articulate a comprehensive AI practice vision and strategy aligned with overall business goals.
. Lead and manage the AI team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
. Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure the practice remains at the forefront of AI advancements.
Business Development & Client Engagement:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to AI solutions and services.
Engage with clients to understand their needs, present AI capabilities, and deliver tailored solutions.
Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with technology providers, research institutions, and other stakeholders.
Project Oversight & Delivery:
Oversee the successful delivery of AI projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and value creation.
Implement robust project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
Track and report on practice performance metrics and outcomes.
Thought Leadership & Advocacy:
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and forums as an AI thought leader.
Produce white papers, articles, and presentations to showcase AI expertise.
Advocate for ethical AI practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
. Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in AI, data analytics, or technology leadership roles.
. Proven track record in building and scaling AI teams and practices.
. Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and related AI technologies.
. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
. Experience with business development, pre-sales, and client engagement in AI solutions is highly desirable.
