Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to join our regional logistics team as the Head, Logistics Performance.

In this role, you will own the design, analysis, and optimization of logistics performance, rider payments, and incentive strategies across our 16 diverse markets. Managing a budget exceeding 1 billion EUR, your work will directly impact hundreds of thousands of riders. You will lead a multifaceted team focused on three core pillars: Rider Payments & Incentives, Business Planning, and RTO (Real Time Operations) Processes. This includes the design and deployment of live, ad hoc incentives to manage dynamic conditions like bad weather and sudden demand spikes.

You will act as the bridge between high level business goals and local operational execution, treating rider compensation and incentives as a critical operational lever. By optimizing core payment structures and dynamic incentive models, you will optimize fleet behavior, improve delivery times, and ensure rider availability matches customer demand while ensuring financial sustainability and long term fleet stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organizational Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and scale a high performing team of specialists and leads. Build a culture of analytical rigor, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
• Strategy & Business Planning: Lead continuous business planning and strategic guidance for the 17 markets. Partner with regional finance and local logistics teams to define long term strategies, defining both financial targets and operational targets (delivery time, efficiency and customer experience)
• Incentive Innovation & Deployment: Own the regional implementation of data science models, automated tools, and new pay components (such as dynamic pricing, surge models, and quest incentives). Direct the testing and rollout strategy to enhance fleet efficiency, engagement and order acceptance rates
• Process Improvement & Automation: Champion a culture of continuous operational improvement. Identify manual bottlenecks across workflows, and drive the adoption of internal automation, AI tools, and scalable systems to reduce manual workload and increase team efficiency
• Cross Functional Leadership: Act as the primary strategic partner to Local Logistics Leaders, Finance Leaders, and Product Managers. You will influence the long term development of rider incentive products and tools with the Central Product team, oversee testing, and turn complex data into clear strategic recommendations for senior leadership across the region
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of professional experience in high growth tech, logistics, strategy consulting or analytics. Experience specifically in the gig economy, marketplace dynamics, or logistics is a strong plus
• Leadership: Proven track record (3+ years) of managing and developing teams, including experience managing other managers
• Education: University degree in STEM, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field
• Technical Fluency: Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel is required to review team analyses, guide analytical strategy, and dive into data when needed. A proven ability to leverage modern AI productivity tools, and automation frameworks to improve operational scalability is highly desired
• Communication: Exceptional English communication skills, both written and spoken. You are comfortable challenging the status quo, negotiating with senior stakeholders, and presenting to executive leadership
