Job Description

Responsibilities – Head Of Internal Audit & Risk Management

  • Lead, manage, and oversee the Internal Audit & Risk Management team in delivering internal

audit and risk consulting services by objectively assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of

governance structures, risk management practices, and internal control systems, and providing

evidence-based opinions.

  • Coordinate audit project planning, including the development of audit objectives, scope, and

audit programmes for the evaluation of internal controls.

  • Review, finalise, and present internal audit reports to the Audit and Risk Management

Committee, ensuring timely completion of assignments and compliance with established

professional standards, while incorporating emerging trends and best practices.

  • Organise and conduct training sessions and webinars for clients, and maintain strong, positive,

and long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

  • Actively support business development initiatives to expand the client base, enhance market

perception, and strengthen branding of the Group.

  • Escalate to the Managing Partner or other authorised persons any matters relating to

misconduct, dishonesty, or breaches of Group policies (including but not limited to the Code of

Conduct) or any relevant regulatory requirements by employees, contractors, or third parties.

  • Provide assistance, when required, in business activities of other affiliates within the Group of

Companies, including advisory and external audit engagements.

  • Work closely with Partners and Directors across the Group and its affiliates to identify and

implement initiatives aimed at improving operational effectiveness and the overall well-being of

the Group.

  • Provide adequate training, coaching, and guidance to team members to ensure high

performance and fulfilment of client expectations.

  • Participate in Group-wide digitalisation initiatives, ISO 27001 compliance activities, and other

related projects for the Group of Companies and its affiliates.

  • Undertake ad hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or additional professional certifications such as CPA,

ACCA, ICAEQ, or equivalent.

  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in internal audit, risk management, governance, or

professional services, with proven experience in a leadership or managerial role.

  • Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management frameworks, corporate

governance principles, and internal control systems.

  • Experience in leading audit engagements, managing teams, and interacting with senior

management and Audit & Risk Management Committees.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-

paced professional environment.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and adherence to ethical standards.
