As part of its continued growth, the organisation is seeking an experienced leader in Infrastructure Project Management to drive project development and delivery across complex, large-scale initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Direction: Provide strategic leadership in driving major development initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders to align outcomes with national priorities and long-term organisational objectives.
- Project Development & Delivery: Provide oversight and direction across a portfolio of projects from early concept and approvals through delivery, ensuring alignment with agreed time, cost, quality, and performance outcomes.
- Stakeholder & Ecosystem Management: Manage complex stakeholder environments, including government bodies, operators, consultants, and delivery partners, to align requirements, resolve issues, and achieve key milestones.
- Capability Development: Lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary project development team, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and the internalisation of technical and domain expertise.
- Governance, Risk & Value Stewardship: Oversee project governance, risk management, and commercial decision-making to ensure sound budget control, effective procurement strategies, and value-for-money outcomes.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or related disciplines, with more than 20 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure development, including significant leadership responsibility.
- Proven leadership of complex, high-value infrastructure projects or portfolios, with accountability for time, cost, quality, and performance outcomes.
- Ability to lead and influence stakeholders across multiple organisational levels, from senior leadership to delivery teams, while coordinating with external partners and authorities.
- Solid understanding of public-sector project development and governance, including procurement, approvals, and contract management frameworks.
- Purpose-driven leader with a passion for building infrastructure that delivers long-term public value and national impact.
