Role Purpose

Lead Regional team to manage, maintain and develop profitable business from Global Financial & Professional Services customers in AP. Develop and implement the GFPS sales strategy and Commercial Priorities for the region and provide functional leadership to Global Account Managers in the other regions. Acts as the Growth Champion for the region by developing and implementing strategies that expand the GFPS portfolio to deliver growth. Assumes the Industry Lead for Operation process review and issue resolution.

We are looking for a Head of GFPS Asia Pacific (RCS G) in Singapore.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL

. GFPS Growth Champion for the Region and China & South Asia
. Manage sales teams to develop business plans for all Accounts in GFPS in Asia Pacific to ensure that such plans are used to develop profitable business.
. Identify new TDI growth sectors - Identity & Authentication, Smart Cards, Currency Printing, Passport & Visa printing, local banks, Government (if GFPS support needed) and develop sales plans to increase TDI growth penetration in Asia Pacific.
. Identify, establish and manage multi-tiered relationships across Customer and DHL Express to ensure a long-term business partnership, collaboration and achievement of corporate goals.
. Build executive relationships within the Industry Accounts.

. Sales Strategy & business development
. Lead strategic plans to develop and acquire business from existing Global Accounts in the industry.
. Regional sales strategy to identify, qualify, develop and acquire new business from target customers in the industry.
. Act as a regional strategic & Industry expert for GFPS customers within DHL.
. Ensures Level of Influence for support to the GFPS Sector.
. Manage Standard Chartered Bank at a Global Level.
. Hold direct revenue and profit responsibility for GFPS customers.
. Understand the regional industry sector size, penetration and our profit potential of GFPS within Asia Pacific using tools provided by the Global Industry Strategy Manager and regional offices.
. Lead the business acquisition process, identify a nd prioritize potential Customers within GFPS within Asia Pacific, handing over any National leads to countries.
. Work in a matrix with the other regions and provide functional support to countries on opportunities and development of industry customers and business. Acting as a primary source of information about the needs of strategic customers and working in partnership with the marketing team to develop customer and marketplace focused marketing strategies and plans. Understand country focussed marketing and financial analysis to determine sales and pricing strategies. Agree product roll-out timing and investment strategies with the relevant support teams.
. Regularly review progress against targets with designated existing customers and target accounts for the industry using the Sales Pipeline and take action as required with the account managers.
. Develop and keep current an appropriate global/regional/country account strategy in line with country level business plans, to achieve profitable revenue growth.
. Lead direct reports with the development of business acquisition projects including new sectors, whilst ensuring targeted revenue and profitability levels are in line with plans.
. Build & execute strategy for penetrating growth sector through the team.
. With regional team maintain an industry sales pipeline for GFPS focusing on Global customers new business conversions and business retention.

. Service Monitoring & Quality Control in Operation Process
. Industry lead for Operation process review and issue resolution involving the following:
. Daily report and monitoring of network delays for GFPS shipments.
. Involves reviewing trends such as late arrivals of flights, impact on TDX and reviewing specific lanes. Examples: TDX for HKG-TYO lanes and HK-ZYP directly with Pete Bardens and team.
. Detailed operational reviews and issue resolution directly with Regional Head of Network Operations and Aviation and team.
. Reviewing gaps and service failures involving GFPS customers.
. Work involves lost visibility/missing bags and root causes.
. Identifying culprit and reports on Bad Address Management Reporting/Failed Delivery which is used to share with countries to improve data flow for customers.

Do you have what it takes

. Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Management or equivalent.
. At least 9 years of working experience in similar capacity.
. At least 3 years consultative selling experience working at board level.
. Require in-depth understanding of the Network Business.
. Extensive knowledge in Banking and Finance Industry.
. Solid working experience in Asia Pacific and Global Arena is required.
. Strong influencing skills to deal with senior management from diverse background.
. Excellent communication skills in English and at least one Asian language.
. Knowledge of the total supply chain of a Financial Services industry and its ecosystem (esp. growth sector).
. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking to build & grow sectors through team.
. Excellent business planning and strategy development skills and experience.
. Good at managing people in an informal matrix structure culturally sensitive.
