Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned communications professional to lead both corporate and marketing communications for Sembcorp Urban Development. This role is key to building our brand as a trusted provider of sustainable urban development solutions across Asia. You will be responsible for shaping our external image, driving marketing campaigns, and ensuring clear and consistent communication with stakeholders. This includes overseeing content for media, digital platforms, and internal channels, as well as supporting SGX-related disclosures and announcements. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, strategic thinker, and hands-on executor with regional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement communications strategies to strengthen Sembcorp Urban Solutions brand in sustainable urban development
• Ensure clear and consistent messaging across all platforms and markets
• Create and manage content for speeches, press releases, reports, social media, websites, and brochures.
• Draft and review SGX-related announcements and support corporate reporting
• Work with the Marketing team to run campaigns for project launches and partnerships across digital and offline channels
• Work with Group and regional teams to align messaging and share project stories
• Build strong relationships with media and stakeholders, especially in Vietnam, Indonesia, and China
• Monitor media, manage issues, and support crisis communications
• Support internal communications including leadership messaging, employee updates, and townhalls.
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in corporate and marketing communications, ideally in infrastructure, real estate, or sustainability
• Strong writing skills, including experience in executive messaging, marketing content, and SGX-related reporting and disclosures
• Demonstrate expertise in digital marketing and campaign planning
• Regional experience and ability to work across cultures
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese, Vietnamese, or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed, and purpose-driven environment
