Yuen Kee Dumplings is an established Chinese F&B brand specialising in traditional dumplings and comfort food. As part of our continued expansion across multiple outlets in Singapore, we are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, maintain food quality standards, and manage kitchen teams effectively.
This role is suitable for individuals with strong hands-on kitchen leadership experience who are capable of overseeing daily operations while supporting business and outlet performance.
Lead and manage daily kitchen operations across assigned outlet(s)
Ensure food quality, consistency, hygiene, and SOP compliance at all times
Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen supervisors and crew
Plan and coordinate kitchen workflow and manpower deployment
Monitor kitchen cleanliness, safety standards, and operational efficiency
Support inventory control, food cost management, and wastage reduction
Work closely with management to support outlet performance and operations
Proven experience as a Head Chef, Senior Chef, or equivalent kitchen leadership role
Strong understanding of Chinese cuisine and kitchen operations preferred
Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen SOPs
Ability to lead and manage kitchen teams effectively
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Comfortable working in a fast-paced F&B environment
Willing to commit to full-time employment
Shift-based working hours in line with F&B operating hours
5-day / 5.5-day / 6-day work week, depending on outlet operational requirements and roster scheduling
Monthly Basic Salary: SGD 3,500 - 3,800
Sales Incentive: Approximately SGD 300 per month (payable upon confirmation, subject to outlet performance)
