  • Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff (Sous Chefs, line cooks, kitchen assistants)
  • Create staff schedules and manage kitchen workflow
  • Foster a positive, disciplined, and high-performance kitchen culture
  • Design and update menus in line company's concept
  • Develop new dishes while maintaining signature offering
  • Ensure presentation, taste, and portion consistency
  • Maintain strict food hygiene and safety standards
  • Ensure all dishes meet quality expectations before service
  • Monitor food storage, handling, and preparation practices
  • Manage food costs, minimize waste, and optimize portion control
  • Oversee ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cost analysis
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Coordinate with front-of-house team for seamless service
  • Handle kitchen issues, complaints, and last-minute adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with local health regulations in Singapore
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
  • Uphold brand standards and SOPs

Job Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef
  • Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of cost control and kitchen operations
  • Food safety certification
  • Able to work during public holidays and weekends
