Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Head Chef

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Singapore

A new restaurant opening in Singapore, is looking for an experienced Indian/Pakistani Cuisine Chef (vegetarian food) to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation, seasoning and cooking of food, checking the food quality at all stages, portioning food, and adding dressings to ensure great presentation along with coming up of new recipes of veg Indian and Pakistani Street food. You will also oversee the kitchen operation to ensure that it runs smoothly and maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, season and cook Indian cuisine.
  • Check the quality of food at all stages of preparation.
  • Portion food and add dressings to ensure great presentation.
  • Oversee kitchen operation to ensure that it runs smoothly.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cooking Indian cuisine.
  • Must have experience making Dosa and Uttapam.
  • Able to make Indian chaats and Parathas.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

  • Kitchen: 2 year (Preferred)
  • Cooking Dosa: 2 year (Required)
  • Cooking Uttapam: 1 year (Required)
  • Indian chaats and parathas: 1 year (Required)
  • Indian cuisines cooking: 3 years (Required)
