Job Summary
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot vehicle hardware systems while supporting system integration and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain vehicle hardware systems including GPS trackers, MDVR/IVMS devices, cameras, and sensors to ensure reliable operation
- Perform testing, diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and repair hardware components and systems to maintain functionality
- Provide technical support and conduct on-site servicing to resolve hardware issues promptly
- Assist in system integration, calibration, and commissioning of ADAS, DMS, and related vehicle solutions to ensure seamless operation
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to address technical issues, clarify product specifications, and manage warranty support effectively
- Collaborate with software and operations teams to optimize system performance and resolve integration challenges
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and service records to support maintenance and compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures during all hardware installation and maintenance activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in hardware installation, automotive electronics, or telematics systems
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems, vehicle electronics, or surveillance systems
- Basic knowledge of wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and use of testing tools
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills to support technical tasks and team collaboration
