a) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and engineer electronic systems for robotics and UAV applications.
b) Develop schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, harness layouts, and component specifications for UAV components and power distribution units using EDA tools, ensuring version control and strong documentation
discipline.
c) Select and source electronic components balancing performance, power efficiency, thermal constraints, signal integrity, availability, and cost-effectiveness support procurement with alternatives and cost-reduction opportunities.
d) Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) and coordinate with vendors for PCBA fabrication and assembly.
e) Conduct Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and perform debugging of signal and power issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
f) Perform EMI/EMC compliance testing, CE/UL/FCC certification support, and thermal analysis to ensure hardware reliability in diverse operational environments.
g) Work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, serviceable, and field-ready.
h) Troubleshoot electrical issues in laboratory, factory, and field environments.
i) Able to travel overseas for job necessities, as required.
