Develop, optimize, and support motion control systems for semiconductor equipment and precision automation platforms.
Design, integrate, and troubleshoot pneumatic systems including valves, cylinders, regulators, vacuum systems, air routing, and pneumatic actuators used in semiconductor tools.
Perform motion tuning, calibration, alignment, and system validation for high-precision semiconductor equipment.
Design and validate precision mechanical assemblies and custom handling mechanisms for semiconductor applications.
Integrate motion control and pneumatic systems with process chambers, load ports, aligners, EFEM modules, and other semiconductor subsystems.
Ensure mechanical alignment, repeatability, contamination control, and cleanroom compliance within semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Collaborate with electrical, controls, software, and manufacturing teams for complete system integration and optimization.
Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance validation for motion and pneumatic subsystems.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, and customer site acceptance testing (SAT).
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, validation reports, troubleshooting procedures, and integration documentation.
Analyze and optimize existing motion control and pneumatic systems to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Perform engineering calculations and technical analysis to ensure system robustness and operational reliability.
Requirements (Must Have)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in motion control system design and implementation, preferably within the semiconductor industry.
Experience in semiconductor automation, precision equipment, or wafer handling environments.
Strong understanding of pneumatic system design, integration, and troubleshooting in industrial or semiconductor applications.
Familiarity with vacuum systems, pneumatic actuators, solenoid valves, regulators, pressure control, and air flow management.
Understanding of SEMI standards and cleanroom requirements.
Strong knowledge of:

Mechanical tolerance stack-up and alignment methodologies
Hands-on experience with CAD tools (Creo preferred)
Reliability engineering, FMEA, and DFMEA methodologies
