- Oversee daily workplace operations, conduct regular site inspections, manage preventive maintenance schedules, and coordinate repairs or facilities improvement projects
- Source quotations, issue purchase orders, oversee contractors during site visits, track service contract expiries, and monitor facilities expenditures against approved budgets.
- Manage the inventory, issuance, and statutory servicing schedules for all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and specialized safety gear (e.g., safety shoes, uniforms, fall-arrest systems).
- Provide administrative support for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Committee meetings, maintain ISO (9001 and 45001) documentation, and coordinate corrective actions for internal and external audit.
- Coordinate general office supplies, manage facilities helpdesk requests, and prepare regular reports on facilities performance, overdue defects, and budget tracking.
skills and experience required
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Building Services, Supply Chain, Safety, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in facilities, operations, or administrative coordination, with mandatory prior experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and WSH documentation (WSH Officer registration is not required).
- Practical understanding of common building services (HVAC, electrical, fire-safety, pest control), quotation sourcing, and vendor contract management.
