Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair a range of appliances including washing machines, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, and other major appliances.
- Diagnose technical issues and determine effective repair solutions.
- Provide timely and professional service at customer locations or at the service centre.
- Accurately record service details, parts used, and job completion status.
- Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of appliances.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner.
- Liaise with supervisors and support staff to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Appliance Technician or in a similar role (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Familiarity with tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy appliances.
- Technical diploma or certification in electronics, mechanical, or a related field
