Job Description

The Hairstylist is responsible for providing professional hair care services, including hair cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments, to meet client preferences and salon standards. The role involves consulting with clients, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and delivering high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Perform hair cutting, styling, washing, and blow-drying services

Provide hair coloring, highlighting, rebonding, perming, and hair treatment services

Consult with clients to understand their hairstyle and hair care needs

Recommend suitable hairstyles, hair products, and treatments

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of tools, equipment, and work area

Ensure compliance with salon safety and health regulations

Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Keep updated with latest hair styling trends and techniques

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of hair cutting and styling techniques

Experience in hair coloring and chemical treatments

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Time management and attention to detail

Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma in Hairdressing or Cosmetology (preferred)

Relevant working experience as a Hairstylist
