HAIRSTYLIST

Job Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair services including hair cutting, washing, blow-drying, colouring, perming, straightening, rebonding, and styling.
• Assess clients hair condition and recommend suitable hairstyles, treatments, or haircare products.
• Perform chemical services safely following salon SOPs and hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and equipment (e.g., scissors, combs, rollers, irons).
• Handle customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Recommend and promote salon products and treatment packages.
• Follow daily salon operational procedures, including appointment scheduling and cash handling when required.
• Assist in inventory control and ensure tools/products are adequately stocked.
• Stay updated with current hair trends, new techniques, and product knowledge.

Job Requirements

• Prior experience as a hairstylist/hairdresser is preferred.
• Skilled in cutting, colouring, perming, straightening and basic hairstyling techniques.
• Good knowledge of hair care products and chemical safety procedures.
• Strong customer service attitude and positive work ethic.
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
• Team player with pleasant personality and good grooming standards.
