Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Hair Services: Shampoo, cut, color, highlight, style, and treat hair (e.g., extensions, keratin smoothing).
- Consultation: Analyze hair texture/condition, discuss client preferences, and recommend styles based on face shape.
- Sanitation: Sterilize tools (scissors, combs, razors), clean workstations, and follow health/safety regulations.
- Product Knowledge & Sales: Advise clients on at-home care and sell retail hair products.
- Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
- Listening to clients needs to determine their preferences.
- Describing different hair care products and their benefits.
- Shampooing, cutting, coloring, and highlighting hair.
- Offering manicure, pedicure, waxing, and facial services.
- Performing scalp treatments.
- Acting as salespersons to sell clients hair care retail products.
