Key Responsibilities
As a Hair Stylist Assistant:
- Assist stylists with preparing clients for their appointments, including shampooing, conditioning, and drying hair.
- Organize and maintain stylist workstations, keeping tools and products clean and ready for use.
- Provide general support to stylists during haircuts, color treatments, and other services.
- Help with sanitization and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with inventory management, ensuring products and supplies are stocked.
As a Receptionist
- Greet and check in clients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about services, pricing, and availability.
- Process client payments and handle cash or card transactions.
- Keep track of client records, ensuring accurate details and a smooth flow of information.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including filing and maintaining client files.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a salon or customer service environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and handle busy periods with grace.
