Details of the Division and Team:
The Quantitative Strategist (Quant Strat) combine expertise in quantitative analytics, modelling, pricing and risk management with deep understanding of system architecture and programming. Their primary output is a scalable and flexible Front Office pricing and risk management system.
The technology platform underlies the trading functions of the Bank as well as management processes around the rational allocation of constrained resources, management of funding costs and capital efficiency programs.

Your key responsibilities:
Contribute to the platform in the APAC region and the globally aligned requirement, both in creating new functionality and to resolve issues or enhance existing features.
Build algorithmic trading interface on the platform between booking systems
Design workflow tools to promote automation and improve efficiency for the business.
Build data feeds and calibrate models for liquidity modelling, exposure and counterparty risk.
Provide trading desks expertise in quantitative analytics, modelling, pricing, and securities lending portfolios.
A general desk start role supporting the business and bringing innovative and quantitative ideas to solve complex problems for the desk.
Your skills and experience:
Minimum of 6 years working experience in financial services as a quantitative developer / strat focusing on financial markets.
Proven experience with developing algorithmic trading platforms and order management systems.
Proven experience in computing and programming skills in Python or C++ or Java.
Proven experience and knowledge in quantitative analytics, modelling and pricing.
Familiarity with securities lending and markets, or banking businesses.
Relevant education in engineering, physics, math, computer science or finance
Ability and aspiration to use, learn and extend large codebase dealing with complex business problems.
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
