Growth & Operations Associate

- Reports to: Co-Founder & COO
- Level: New Grad to 3 Years Experience
About the Role:
You'll be the right hand to the Co-Founder & COO, helping TalentHero grow across Asia. This is a high-ownership role where you'll touch everything from fundraising support to market expansion to startup events. If you love fast-moving environments, solving messy problems, and making things happen, this is your playground.
What You'll Do:
- Fundraising & Investor Relations
- Research and connect with VCs, family offices, angels, and syndicates.
- Maintain and update our investor CRM for future rounds (including Series A).
- Support preparation of pitch materials and applications to accelerators and competitions.
Market Expansion & Ops Support:
- Assist in the groundwork for setting up new legal entities (Japan, Taiwan, etc.).
- Conduct research on regulations, market entry requirements, and operational steps.
- Coordinate with external partners, lawyers, and government agencies as needed.
Events & Partnerships:
- Maintain a master calendar of global startup events and ensure TalentHero hits the best ones.
- Handle applications to pitch competitions, tech conferences, and startup programs.
- Track event ROI and help prepare post-event follow-ups.
Talent & Hiring Support:
- Help coordinate scheduling for senior and mission-critical hires.
- Support sourcing and research for key executive roles when needed.
Business Development & Competitor Intelligence:
- Perform periodic competitor pricing analysis to ensure our offering stays competitive.
- Support occasional BD outreach to clients or prospects.
- Conduct ongoing research into government grants across the markets TalentHero operates in, and prepare submissions with the COO.
What You Bring:
- Degree or diploma in business, marketing, economics, politics, or similar (fresh grads welcome).
- 0-2 years of experience in operations, consulting, venture/startups, or BD is a plus.
- Super organised - you love lists, calendars, trackers, and clean Notion boards.
- Confident communicator not shy about emailing investors or partners.
- Hungry to learn the inner workings of a fast-growing, regional tech company.
- Comfortable with ambiguity - you can figure things out from scratch.
