About the Role

The Group Strategy Manager will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, leading high-impact cross-functional initiatives across the Group. This role combines strategic planning, commercial analysis, project management, and business transformation to ensure key priorities are executed effectively.

You will work closely with leaders across Marketing, Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, and Retail to identify opportunities, solve complex business problems, and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Strategy

  • Support the development and execution of the Group's strategic roadmap and growth initiatives.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and industry analysis to identify new opportunities.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, product categories, and market expansion.
  • Develop business cases and recommendations for senior management.

Business Performance & Growth

  • Monitor business performance across all brands and markets using key commercial and operational metrics.
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend initiatives to improve revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive strategic projects focused on increasing customer lifetime value (LTV), average order value (AOV), and overall business profitability.

Strategic Projects

  • Lead company-wide strategic initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Track project milestones, risks, dependencies, and business impact.

Examples include:

  • Market expansion
  • New product launches
  • Process optimisation
  • Organisation restructuring
  • AI implementation
  • Business transformation initiatives
  • Post-merger integration projects

Data & Decision Support

  • Analyse financial, operational, and commercial data to support business decisions.
  • Build executive dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Business Process Improvement

  • Identify operational inefficiencies across departments.
  • Design and implement scalable processes and governance frameworks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve execution and organisational effectiveness.

Executive Support

  • Prepare board papers, leadership presentations, and strategic updates.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings and ensure follow-up actions are executed.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5–8 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, commercial strategy, or a similar role.
  • Experience in FMCG, consumer brands, retail, or e-commerce is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
