We are looking for a Group R&D Chef to shape the culinary direction of our group. This role is at the heart of innovation: you will lead the creation of new dishes, refine menus, and ensure uncompromising quality across multiple concepts, collaborating closely with Head Chefs to elevate every brand.

What You'll Do

  • Lead culinary research and development across multiple brands, driving innovation while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Translate briefs and vision into measurable standards for taste, presentation, and execution across all outlets.
  • Collaborate with Head Chefs to design and refine new dishes, seasonal menus, and signature offerings that define each brand's identity.
  • Support pre-opening projects and concept launches, including menu ideation, ingredient planning, and culinary direction.
  • Develop and standardise recipes, plating guides, and portion controls to ensure repeatable excellence across the group.
  • Conduct regular tastings and menu reviews, ensuring that every dish reflects creativity, balance, and operational feasibility.
  • Troubleshoot culinary challenges, providing expert guidance to achieve perfection in execution.
  • Work closely with procurement, operations, and leadership teams to align R&D outputs with brand goals, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and optimizing food cost.
  • Report to the founders and stakeholders, sharing updates on innovation initiatives, menu performance, and quality benchmarks.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Comes from a fine-dining background, ideally having led or contributed to Michelin-starred, award-winning, or high-profile kitchens.
  • Has experience in R&D, Culinary Development, or Executive Chef roles within multi-concept or hospitality groups.
  • Is driven by creativity, flavor innovation, and culinary excellence, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possesses a deep understanding of menu development, food costing, and operational feasibility.
  • Thrives in a collaborative role, inspiring and guiding Head Chefs while shaping group-wide culinary strategy.
  • Can balance artistry with practicality, translating innovative ideas into scalable, repeatable dishes.
