About the Role

As the Group Principal Manager, Human Nutrition APAC, you will play a strategic role in managing and strengthening relationships with our key Principals across the APAC region. You will work closely with regional and country commercial leaders, global stakeholders, and our principals to develop growth strategies, identify new business opportunities, and ensure alignment with Barentz's commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own and develop strategic relationships with assigned Principals across the APAC region.
  • Partner with Principals to develop and execute joint business growth strategies and expansion plans.
  • Drive sales performance by aligning commercial objectives with key Principle partners.
  • Monitor market trends and customer insights, translating them into actionable business opportunities and strategic plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day Principal engagement, ensuring strong, collaborative partnerships.
  • Support internal commercial teams by managing escalations and facilitating effective communication with Principals.
  • Build and maintain multi-level stakeholder relationships within Principal organizations.
  • Leverage market intelligence and business data to optimize product portfolio strategies across designated markets.
  • Prepare management updates and strategic reports, providing insights into Principal development and business performance.

About the Team

You will report directly to the VP Human Nutrition APAC, you will be responsible for driving long-term partnerships that support sustainable business growth, supply reliability, and commercial success.

You will join a highly collaborative APAC commercial leadership team, partnering with colleagues across sales, marketing, supply chain, technical, and global business functions. Together, we work to build trusted partnerships, expand market opportunities, and deliver sustainable growth across the region.

This role offers significant regional exposure and the opportunity to influence strategic business decisions while working with leading global ingredient manufacturers.

About You

You are a commercially driven relationship builder who enjoys developing strategic partnerships and creating win-win outcomes. You are equally comfortable discussing long-term business strategy with senior executives as you are collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve day-to-day business challenges.

  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Food Science, or a related discipline.
  • Come with 8–12 years of experience in Principal Management, Product or Category Management, Business Development, Sales, or Marketing within the ingredients, food, nutrition, or related industries.
  • A solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and develop strategic business plans.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A customer-centric approach and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels, internally and externally.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
