Job Description

Our client, a real estate group with presence across Asia Pacific, is actively seeking an experienced Group Human Resources Director to join their established organization headquartered in Singapore.

In this role, you will play a vital role in provide strategic leadership for all people and organization matters across the Group's real estate, hospitality, and related businesses. Operating at the Group holding company level, this role is responsible for designing and driving a future-ready HR strategy that supports business growth, operational excellence, and strong organizational culture. As the Group continues to scale and diversify, the role will lead the evolution of the HR operating model, including the establishment of Group Centre of Excellence (COEs), governance frameworks, and talent capabilities across geographies and business units.

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Partner the Group CEO and senior leadership to formulate and execute a Group-wide HR strategy aligned with business growth, transformation, and long-term value creation.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Board and Remuneration Committee on workforce strategy, leadership succession, and executive compensation.
  • Build a strong people agenda that balances commercial outcomes, culture, and governance.
  • Design and implement a scalable Group HR operating model, clearly defining Group vs Business Unit responsibilities.
  • Establish and lead Group HR Centre of Excellence, which may include talent acquisition, employer branding, succession planning, total rewards & executive compensation, learning & organizational development, HR analytics, and workforce planning.
  • Drive standardization of policies, frameworks, and HR practices while allowing flexibility for business-specific needs.
  • Champion a strong, values-driven Group culture across diverse business units and geographies.
  • Lead HR transformation initiatives, including HR systems, data analytics, and process optimization
  • Work closely with key stakeholders (Group CEO, Group CFO, Group Executive Committee, Business Unit CEOs/ General Managers) in various decision making processes.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:-

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
  • Over 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with significant exposure at Group / corporate level.
  • Demonstrated track record in building HR strategies, operating models, and Centre of Excellence.
  • Regional / multi-country exposure within Asia is an advantage.
  • Strategic and commercial mindset with strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • High credibility at Board and C-suite level
  • Ability to balance governance with entrepreneurial growth
  • Hands-on, pragmatic leadership style topped with excellent communication skills
