Purpose Of The Role

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic business leader to serve as our Group Head of Corporate Communications. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for shaping corporate narratives, building organizational culture, and reinforcing the company's reputation as a trusted partner in healthcare, across Asia. By translating complex business priorities into credible, audience-relevant narratives within a multi-market, highly regulated healthcare environment, you will drive integrated communications initiatives that support our long-term growth and organizational objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, group-wide communications strategy aligned with organizational priorities. Create compelling narratives that strengthen brand reputation, reinforce our purpose, and resonate with clients, customers, regulators, employees, and partners.
  • Act as the principal communications counsel to the Group CEO and executive team. Develop thought leadership content, keynote narratives, and messaging frameworks that reflect the company's strategy and values.
  • Lead the company's master brand architecture, visual and verbal identity standards, and long-term brand equity strategy to ensure consistency and differentiation across all markets and B2B healthcare touchpoints.
  • Serve as the communications lead during regulatory events, reputational threats, or organizational crises. Drive proactive communications planning and develop playbooks, pre-approved messaging, and rapid-response protocols to mitigate risks and protect the company's standing.
  • Manage the regional media strategy, cultivate sustained relationships with journalists, agencies, and industry influencers, and act as (or coach) official spokespeople to amplify our reputation and business milestones.
  • Design and govern the internal communications framework, establishing standards for tone, transparency, channel mix, and frequency to ensure consistent, timely information flow from corporate HQ to frontline workers.
  • Build, inspireand develop a high-performing regional communications team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across a matrixed organization.
  • Champion the use of AI-powered content, analytics, and digital publishing tools to scale the communications function, enabling faster delivery, deeper personalization, and measurable campaign impact.

Must-Have

  • Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 15 to 18+ years of progressive corporate communications experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within a large, complex multinational organization (demonstrating a clear shift from execution to strategic C-suite advisory).
  • Explicit, proven track record of advising a Group CEO or Board on communications strategy, reputational risks, and sensitive business decisions.
  • Proven personal ownership of at least one significant crisis, regulatory, or reputational incident, successfully leading the end-to-end response under high pressure.

Advantage To Have

  • Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, or highly regulated B2B industries, with experience navigating patient safety or regulatory scrutiny.
  • Proven track record of building and maturing a communications function from the ground up.
  • Active, applied experience with AI-powered communications tools (content generation, sentiment analytics, measurement platforms) resulting in measurable improvements.
  • Experience managing communications for large-scale organizational transformations (e.g. restructuring) at a regional level.
