Description
Reporting to the CEO/GM, you will:
- Lead the finance and accounting function across the Singapore headquarters and regional entities
- Oversee monthly group consolidation and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS requirements
- Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring strong governance, internal controls, and reporting accuracy
- Prepare monthly management reports, board reporting packs, and financial analysis for senior leadership
- Partner business stakeholders and plant leadership teams to provide insights on product margins, costing, inventory management, working capital, cash flow, and operational performance
- Oversee manufacturing finance activities, including standard costing, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and cost control initiatives across regional operations
- Support and provide financial oversight to manufacturing plants in China, Thailand, and Malaysia, driving consistency in financial processes, controls, and performance reporting
- Lead annual statutory audits and serve as the key liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Monitor foreign exchange exposure, intercompany transactions, and group compliance requirements.
- Support strategic initiatives through financial analysis, reporting enhancements, process improvements, and business partnering activities
- Degree in Accounting or Finance, qualified CA, CPA, ACCA with at least 10 years of working experience
- Proven finance leadership experience within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or precision manufacturing environment
- Strong experience partnering manufacturing plants, with expertise in standard costing, cost accounting, inventory management, and operational finance
- Demonstrated regional exposure across markets like China and SEA with the ability to manage stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong expertise in group consolidation, IFRS reporting, and multi-entity finance operations
- Experience managing external audits, tax matters, and senior stakeholder relationships
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
- Hands-on leader with strong people management capabilities and experience leading finance teams in a dynamic environment
- High visibility role partnering closely with senior leadership and key decision-makers
- Broad exposure across financial reporting, operations and strategic business initiatives
