The company is seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controller/Finance Director to lead the financial management and strategy for an industrial engineering leader. The position will partner senior leadership to strengthen and evolve the Group finance function.

Description
- Act as a senior finance business partner to Project Directors, GMs and regional leaders across Singapore, Southeast Asia and the Middle East
- Lead Group budgeting, forecasting and management reporting with strong focus on project margins, cost-to-complete and cash flow
- Provide commercial input into bids, project pricing, investment decisions and regional growth initiatives
- Strengthen financial discipline across EPC projects, including revenue recognition, WIP, variations, claims and working capital
- Drive finance improvement initiatives to simplify processes, reduce manual work and enhance reporting, consolidation and planning capabilities
- Own Group financial governance, controls and consolidation aligned to shareholder and institutional expectations, with operational execution handled by the team
- Support treasury, cash flow planning, banking facilities and financial risk management activities
- Manage, coach and develop a team of 4-5 finance staff, building capability beyond transactional accounting
- Act as the primary liaison with auditors, tax advisors, banks and other external stakeholders
Profile
- Degree-qualified in Accountancy or Finance; CPA/CA qualified with at least 15+years of progressive finance leadership experience
- Background in EPC, project-based, engineering, construction or infrastructure environments strongly preferred
- Strong combination of financial control, FP&A and business partnering experience
- Exposure to multi-entity, multi-region operations
- Comfortable operating in a privately owned, performance-driven environment
- Able to operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels
