Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate consolidated financial and management reports, including monthly flash reports, dashboards, and quarterly board papers.
- Lead financial planning, analysis, and problem-solving initiatives to support management decisions.
- Collaborate closely with business unit finance teams to resolve accounting issues and provide technical guidance on financial and reporting matters.
- Liaise with external and group auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit process.
- Coordinate with professional advisors and key stakeholders on all financial reporting matters.
- Administer and maintain the Group's ERP system, including accounting and consolidation modules.
- Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and other ad-hoc projects to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a lean finance team, including accountants and accounting executives.
- Conduct annual reviews related to Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) compliance, sanctions compliance, and enterprise risk management.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting support as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CPA qualification from a recognized accounting body (ISCA, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including at least 4-5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity within a large organization, or 6 years of Big 4 audit experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial consolidation and accounting standards (Singapore FRS and IFRS).
- Proven hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial statements and management reports for large corporate groups.
- Familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller and Lawson M3 systems will be an added advantage.
