About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical finance professional to join our Group Finance team in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a key role in group financial consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for five subsidiaries located across the region. Key Responsibilities

  • Consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial results, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements from all subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and review group management reports, analysis of variances, and key financial metrics such as product profitability, cost efficiency, and working capital performance.
  • Lead or support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting exercise, partnering with plant finance teams and operations managers to ensure achievable and aligned financial targets.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis on material, labor, and overhead costs, offering insights on manufacturing performance and margin optimization.
  • Monitor standard costing, inventory valuations, and ensure accuracy of cost accounting in line with group policies.
  • Liaise with subsidiary finance teams to ensure timely and consistent reporting in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
  • Support audit, tax, and regulatory reporting matters, coordinating with external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant authorities.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, ERP migration and integration, and enhancement of reporting automation and financial control systems.
  • Prepare management presentations and business dashboards for internal reviews and board submissions.
  • Provide financial analysis for capital expenditure, investment proposals, and other strategic business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred).
  • Between 4 and 10 years of relevant experience in group consolidation, financial reporting, or FP&A, preferably in manufacturing or precision engineering industries.
  • Experience in public listed or multinational group environments with cross-border operations is highly advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SFRS, group accounting, and intercompany eliminations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Solid grasp of cost accounting, inventory control, and manufacturing financial processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively across entities and functions.
  • Resourceful, meticulous, and able to manage multiple priorities independently under tight deadlines.
