Our client is a prominent Asia-headquartered multinational on an exciting growth journey. This is a newly created leadership role with group-wide responsibility for HR Information Systems.

As the Group Director, HR Technology, you will play a key role to lead the company's global HR digital transformation. You will be responsible for setting and delivering the HRIS strategy across multiple regions including Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe and the Americas. Your focus will be on building an integrated HR technology platform that supports business growth and provides reliable people data and insights.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and design for the HR digital transformation, ensuring alignment with the company's global business strategy.
  • Evaluate and plan the evolution roadmap for the global HR system, covering all modules such as Recruitment, Compensation, Performance, and Talent Development.
  • Take full ownership of the design, initiation, and end-to-end management of HR digital projects, acting as the primary owner for project delivery.
  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (COEs) and HR Business Partners to streamline HR processes across different regions.
  • Establish and improve the HR data analysis framework, generating deep insights into organizational health, talent trends, and operational efficiency through data modeling and analysis.

Role requirements

  • Degree qualified with 10-12 years of progressive HRIS experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role with prior experience with Workday HCM.
  • Experience in leading or playing a key role in the digital build-out of an HRIS from the ground up, hands-on experience with HR systems integration in M&A projects will be a bonus.
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and team members across diverse regions. Fluency in Mandarin will be essential.
  • Experience in driving process improvement and change initiatives
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects while maintaining a close attention to detail.
