Group Compliance (Director)

Our client is a listed MNC, operating globally and with key hub offices in Singapore, Dubai, London and New York. You will be joining an established legal and compliance function which is dual headquartered in Singapore and London.

Job Description

• As a key member of the APAC legal and compliance team, you will develop and rollout key compliance related matters such as KYC, Trade, AML, Sanctions, Investigations, Privacy and Policy.
• You will work with senior business leaders from around the world, offering compliance support on areas such as transactions and product distribution. This will also focus on the design, development and implementation of commercial contracts, frameworks, policies and processes.
• You will support the business with daily requests, as well as ensuring mid-term strategic goals are considered along side business appropriate risk tolerance levels.
• The role is seen as critical to business success and will offer exposure to key stakeholders in Asia and around the world.

Requirements

• 10 - 20 years (guideline)
• Experience in both legal and compliance related matters - essential
• Experience with sanctions - essential
• Experienced as a people manager - essential
• Ability to work on commercial (legally) focused contracts
• Communication and superior stakeholder engagement skills must be tier 1
• Global stakeholder and project experience required
