The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO and Board to steer the Group's financial strategy and long-term growth. This role requires strong leadership in managing enterprise-wide financial operations for a global, production-driven business, covering financial planning, capital allocation, performance management, and compliance. The CFO will drive operational efficiency, enable transformation initiatives, and represent the Group with investors, financial institutions, and regulators.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board, aligning financial strategy with the Group's commercial and operational objectives.
- Oversee end-to-end financial planning, analysis, reporting, and capital deployment to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, cost management, and process standardisation across manufacturing, supply chain, and regional business units.
- Drive capital-raising strategies, manage investor and banking relationships, and ensure optimal liquidity for global operations.
- Enhance governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks to strengthen organisational resilience.
- Build and lead a high-performing finance function that partners effectively with operations and commercial teams.
- Represent the Group externally on financial and compliance matters with auditors, regulators, and strategic partners.
Candidate Requirements
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional designation.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years in progressive finance leadership roles (CFO, Deputy CFO, or Divisional Finance Director), ideally in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial sectors. Track record of managing complex, multi-entity operations across multiple countries.
- Capital Markets & M&A: Proven experience in M&A, fundraising, and managing investor relations in a publicly listed environment (Nasdaq exposure preferred).
- Operational & Strategic Skills: Strong cost-control and operational finance experience with a focus on productivity, efficiency, and supporting large-scale transformation projects.
- Leadership Attributes: Strategic yet hands-on leader with commercial acumen, able to drive performance and change across culturally diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English, with the ability to engage effectively in Chinese business environments.
