Our client is an SGX-listed organisation headquartered in Singapore with an established international footprint. As part of its continued focus on financial discipline, performance optimisation and strategic execution, there is now an opportunity for a seasoned finance leader to join them as Group Business Controller.

Role

Reporting to the Group CFO, this role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy and capital stewardship. You will lead business partnering across key divisions, oversee group corporate finance and treasury activities, and drive investor relations efforts. The focus of this role will be to provide timely, accurate and forward-looking financial analysis on business performance, outlook and scenario planning, including investment and asset modelling. You can also expect to lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, in addition to driving continuous improvements across the finance organisation. From a corporate finance and treasury perspective, you will oversee group-wide capital investments, funding strategies and financial planning initiatives, including advisory support on potential M&A.

Requirements

Ideally, you have a Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification and/or are a Certified Public Accountant. You bring a minimum of 15 years experience across accounting and finance, with prior exposure to Big Four audit firms, multinational corporations and/or listed companies preferred. You are commercially astute, analytical and meticulous, with the ability to operate independently while influencing senior stakeholders. Familiarity with SAP and BPC systems will be advantageous.
