Job Purpose
The Group Accountant will be responsible for group consolidation, financial reporting, and analysis across multiple subsidiaries, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidated financial statements
- Review subsidiary management accounts and prepare consolidated management reports, including detailed variance analysis
- Support group-level budgeting and forecasting processes
- Manage audit deliverables across subsidiaries, ensuring timely resolution of audit queries
- Prepare draft group financial statements and coordinate with external auditors to meet reporting deadlines
- Lead or support the implementation of new or revised accounting standards across the Group
- Work closely with regional finance teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and compliance in reporting
- Provide technical accounting guidance and group reporting support
- Participate in ad hoc projects and cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, etc.)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Ideally: with commercial finance / group reporting role
- Strong exposure to group consolidation and financial reporting
- Solid knowledge of IFRS / SFRS accounting standards
- Familiar with SGX regulatory requirements
