Job Summary
You will lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and SGX-NET reporting, manage budgeting and forecasting, support finance teams locally and overseas, and drive process improvements to ensure accurate financial management for a listed company.
Responsibilities
- Produce monthly consolidated financial statements to ensure accurate group financial reporting
- Prepare half-yearly SGX-NET result announcements and annual reports in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Review and analyze subsidiaries monthly management accounts to identify financial trends and variances
- Manage the group budgeting process and forecasts to support strategic financial planning
- Guide and support finance and accounting staff locally and overseas to enhance team performance and accuracy
- Participate in systems implementation and process improvement initiatives to optimize financial operations
- Prepare management reports for dormant entities to maintain regulatory compliance
- Undertake ad hoc projects to address emerging financial and operational needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Accounting degree from an accredited university with at least 3 years relevant experience in a listed company
- Consolidation experience and knowledge of SGX-NET reporting requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Working knowledge of fundamental accounting and taxation issues
- SAP knowledge and audit experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive work attitude
- Ability to start work within short notice
