Job Summary

Group Accountant

This role will be responsible for overseeing group consolidation, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accounting standards across multiple entities.

You will work closely with finance teams across different markets, playing a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial information, supporting audit processes, and driving consistency in reporting practices across the group.

Key Responsibilities

. Handle the preparation of monthly, quarterly andannual group consolidation reports

. Review subsidiary financials and perform analysis,including preparing consolidated management reports with variance insights

. Assist in the group budgeting and forecastingcycle, including analysis and tracking

. Coordinate with subsidiaries on audit requirementsand ensure timely closure of audit matters

. Prepare group financial statements and liaise withexternal auditors to meet reporting timelines

. Drive the adoption and implementation of new orupdated accounting standards across the group

. Partner with regional finance teams to ensure accurate,consistent and compliant reporting, and provide technical accounting supportwhere required

. Support ad hoc assignments and cross-functionalprojects as needed

Qualifications &Experience

Requirements

. Degree or professional qualification in Accountancyor equivalent

. At least 5 years of relevant experience,ideally with a mix of: Audit experience and Commercial finance exposure withgroup consolidation and reporting

. Prior audit experience is essential, with Big 4 background being an added advantage

. Good understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS/SFRS)

. Familiarity with SGX Mainboard reporting requirements is preferred
